LeadEx participates in the Interreg Europe Project Training Days in Lille

Capacity building and networking for more effective project implementation.

From 30 September to 2 October 2025, the LeadEx team took part in the Interreg Europe Project Training Days, held in Lille, France. The event gathered lead partners, finance managers, controllers and communication officers from 99 projects approved under the third call of the Interreg Europe Programme.

Representatives from the Regional Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Employment – Region of Murcia, as lead partner of LeadEx, together with partners from the Podkarpackie Region, attended the three-day event, which focused on key aspects of project implementation, including financial management, reporting procedures and communication strategies.

As LeadEx Communications Manager, Olga Chizhevskaya (EARLALL) participated in the sessions dedicated to communication. Throughout the training, participants explored practical approaches to enhancing project websites, applying storytelling techniques on social media, and increasing the visibility and impact of project communication.

The event concluded with a collaborative reflection and exchange of experiences among participants from across Europe, fostering stronger networks and a shared understanding among projects at similar stages of implementation.

Region of Murcia takes part in European discussion on integrating migrant youth into school systems

The Region of Murcia participated in the online discussion «Integrating migrant youth into the school system», organised by the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform on 29 April 2026. The event brought together institutional representatives, thematic experts and stakeholders from different European regions to exchange experiences and good practices related to the educational integration of migrant and refugee youth.

The session was coordinated by thematic experts Kadri Uus and Mart Veliste and included contributions from representatives linked to several Interreg Europe projects, including LeadEx, SIRM, MILEstone and SALAM. Discussions focused on access to education, language learning, inclusive educational models and the social integration of students arriving from migration and conflict contexts.

One of the presentations highlighted the experience of Burgenlandkreis (Germany), where different approaches to language acquisition and progressive integration into mainstream education are currently being tested. Representatives from Maramureș County (Romania) also shared measures implemented to support Ukrainian refugee children, including Ukrainian-language classes, educational support programmes and extracurricular activities designed to foster inclusion and wellbeing.

The Estonian Ministry of Education and Research presented Estonia’s flexible integration model, which prioritises early inclusion in mainstream classrooms while adapting support measures according to students’ linguistic and educational needs.

The participation of the Region of Murcia in this event reinforces its commitment to interregional learning and the exchange of innovative educational practices within the framework of the LeadEx project and European territorial cooperation.
